    JTD Hospital Foundationawards scholarships

    Bubp, Hays, Fell and Steinemann receive money to pursue nursing careers

    ST. MARYS — The JTD Hospital Foundation, which is affiliated with Grand Lake Health System, awarded four $1,000 scholarships for area students pursuing nursing careers.

    Kathryn Bubp and Deanna Hays, both of St. Marys, Rachel Fell, of Spencerville, and Cheryl Steinemann, of Minster, received $1,000 scholarships.

    The foundation is a fundraising arm of Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. The foundation will award 16 scholarships for next school year, including additional $1,000 scholarships for previous recipients to continue nurses training and six $500 scholarships for people pursing careers in health care.
