LPD showed family respect
Comments 0 | Recommend 0As the sister of the former sheriff of Seneca County and a former Tiffin police officer, Larry Stephens, I would like to pubicly thank the two officers from the Lima Police Department who came to Tiffin on Monday, July 21, to be a part of my brother's funeral procession.
It was a very difficult day, but seeing all the law enforcement vehicles that led my brother's procession made me so proud of my brother, my other brothers who were also police officers, and all the men and women who put their lives on the line to give us a safe place to live.
The city of Lima is to be commended for allowing the officers and squad car to make the trip Monday, and please know how much it meant to all of our family.
