Matthew campaigns for 12th Senate District

LIMA — 12:52 p.m., Apr. 28 — Pledging improvements in education and the economy, Democratic candidate Thomas Matthew kicked off a campaign this morning for the 12th Ohio Senate District.Matthew, 61, of Wapakoneta, is spending the day touring the district in all of five counties and parts of two.Allen County Sheriff Dan Beck and Ohio Senate Minority Leader Ray Miller introduced Matthew.Miller called Matthew “an outstanding candidate with a heart for public service.”Matthew said he wants to address issues in public education and help create better-paying jobs in the state.Read more about this story in Tuesday's The Lima News.
