Ray Dyer
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Ray Dyer, 70, died at 3:14 p.m. Sept. 5, 2008, at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Kenton.
He was born April 26, 1938, in Carey, to Seward and Mary E. Hurt Dyer, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Dyer was a self-employed truck driver.
Survivors include a son, John (Lynn) Dyer, of Mogadore; a daughter, Kim (Jay) Wiley, of Akron; three brothers, Chalmer Dyer, of Alger, Mort (Rosie) Dyer, of Dunkirk and Frank (Stella) Dyer, of Alger; two grandchildren, Katrina Dyer and A.J. Wiley; and five sisters, Ressie (Ernest) Robirds, of Harrod, Ruth (Elmer) Dye, of Dola, and Lucy (Abe) Rowe, Ruby (James) Holbrook and Rosemary (Daniel) Miller, all of Alger.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger. Pastor Don Holbrook will officiate. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Quickstep Pentecostal Church of God, 2040 Township Road 120, Alger.
